In order to conduct business with CyberDyne and have access to our latest price
list, you will need to first Register. The entire Registration process may be concluded
online within minutes and once registered you will have full access to our latest
price guide and may then process orders online.
Why do you require registration prior to doing
business with me ?
In order to transact with any customer we need to first
assign a unique customer code & type into our SAP ERP system. This information is
obtained through the online registration process, and without this information we
are unable to create a customer account to transact with.
What group of customers does the registration
process support ?
For simplicity purposes, two (2) customer groups are supported:
Individuals and Business. By definition an 'Individual' would be an End User who
would purchase product for his or her own use. A 'Business' would refer to any organization
which is involved in the re-sale of product to end users - this being Retailers,
E-Tailers, System Integrators and Resellers.
How does your pricing model work ?
Customers who register as an 'Individual' are assigned
our Recommend Retail Pricing (RRP) structure. Customers who complete a 'Business'
registration are assigned our Dealer pricing structure.
Can anyone register as a 'Dealer' ?
No. Only companies who are in the business of reselling
products to end user consumers are able to qualify as a 'Dealer'. In order to protect
the business of our Reseller customers, we have two (2) price guides - one based
on Recommend Retail Pricing (RRP) for the public only and the other being a Wholesale
price guide for the Channel customer only.
Why as a distributor do you support the option
for an 'End User' to Register ?
Quite simply to protect the business of our Re-Seller customers
and ensure full transparency in our business dealings! By allowing any end user
customer to purchase directly from CyberDyne at Recommend Retail Pricing (RRP),
our Reseller customers are not going to feel threatened because they know that these
sales were done at a higher price than they would pay. Through feedback from Reseller
customers, the problem currently in South Africa is that the major distributors
all vehemently claim they will never sell to an end user - yet in many cases, these
companies have allowed end users to buy directly from them on a special 'C.O.D.'
account - used to disguise the sale at Wholesale pricing directly to the end user.
At CyberDyne we are not going to profess that we don't sell to the public, yet end
up doing it behind our Resellers backs - hence the very reason why from the outset
we have made the option available for an End User to purchase directly from us,
but at Recommend Retail Pricing (RRP) only - thus ensuring the margins of our Reseller
customers are protected.
How long does the Registration process take
and why can it only be concluded online ?
Online registration will take a few minutes to complete.
Time is money and many Re-Sellers wish to focus on doing business - not bogged down
in complex application paperwork. We share their sentiments in this regard, thus
the reason for eliminating the need for paperwork by providing this online registration
process which is available 24/7.
How long after I have concluded registration
before I can do business with CyberDyne ?
Immediately! Once the registration process has been concluded
your Username & Password will be emailed to you by the system. These credentials
may then be used to log-on to our system where the latest price guide may be downloaded
and our online ordering system may be used to process orders.
By concluding Registration do I qualify for Credit Facilities ?
End Users are never assigned Credit Facilities. Only Resellers
are eligible for terms and this based on them first doing business with CyberDyne
for a period of six (6) months for which then they will have the opportunity to
apply for a Credit Facility. The Registration process is not an 'Account application'
process – it is strictly for the purposes of obtaining the necessary information
to create a valid customer profile in our SAP ERP system and to provide a customer
number which may then be used to transact with CyberDyne.
Am I able to register at CyberDyne premises
?
Cross counter registration into our SAP ERP system directly
may take place at CyberDyne premises; however this will allow customers to conduct
business on a cross counter collection basis only. In order to support orders being
placed remotely i.e. off CyberDyne premises and receive delivery, online registration
is required as all business conducted 'remotely' is handled via our online ordering
system.
What security measures does your online Registration
system offer to prevent a fraudulent profile from being created ?
Only you can conclude a registration - no one can register
on your behalf. To conclude any registration, the system will send you a verification
email which contains a link that you need to click on to complete the registration
process. This ensures that no-one else can register on your behalf unless they have
access to your email account. Furthermore, no-one can order goods on your behalf
because the registration process is not providing you with any Credit Facilities,
meaning that unless we have first received payment, no goods will be dispatched
by our Warehouse. The online registration process is safe and secure and protects
both ourselves as the supplier, and you as the customer.
