CyberDyne provides all its customers with a door-to-door delivery service using
either its own fleet of delivery vehicles or shipping orders via a 3rd party courier.
Depending entirely on the physical address where delivery is required, this service
is offered at no additional cost. Customers wishing to take advantage of this service
need to ensure that either themselves, or a proxy are available during the hours
9:00am to 17:00pm, Monday thru Friday (Excludes weekends and / or public holidays)
to sign receipt.
What hours does the delivery service operate
within ?
Door-to-door delivery is made during the hours 9:00am to
17:00pm Monday thru Friday. This excludes weekends and public holidays.
Are you able to specify a time when delivery
of my order will take place ?
In accordance with the logistics business, we are only
able to specify that delivery will take place during a set time period. In the case
of CyberDyne's delivery service this is between the hours 9:00am to 17:00pm on the
actual day of delivery. There are many factors involved in the delivery of an order
beyond our direct control such as the sequence in which drivers will schedule delivery,
traffic conditions and any unforeseen delays such as customers detaining our drivers
for an extended period of time. These factors can and do affect the time of subsequent
deliveries and are the reason why we are unable to commit to an exact delivery time.
May I specify a date or time when delivery takes
place ?
You are welcome to specify a date suitable for delivery,
however in terms of an actual time we are only able to offer delivery between the
hours 9:00am to 17:00pm Monday thru Friday. Should this not be suitable for your
requirements you will either need to collect directly from CyberDyne premises during
business hours, or tender a physical delivery address where a proxy is available
during the hours 9:00am to 17:00pm to sign receipt.
What occurs if I specify delivery for an order
and no-one is available to sign receipt ?
The order is returned to CyberDyne's warehouse and you
will either need to arrange collection from CyberDyne premises during business hours,
or re-delivery can be arranged, but will be billed for to cover the costs of the
first failed delivery attempt as well as subsequent redelivery. This applies regardless
of if delivery costs were originally billed.
What areas do you offer delivery to at no additional charge ?
By default CyberDyne offers a door-to-door delivery to
the greater Johannesburg area at no additional charge - this regardless of the order
size or value. To establish if delivery charges apply to your area, you may either
email your physical delivery address to sales@cyberdyne.co.za
to inquire, or alternatively use our online ordering system to request a quotation.
All quotations issued by CyberDyne for orders requiring delivery will include the
delivery fee - even if this is zero rated for areas where delivery charges don't
apply.
If inventory is available when will you deliver
my order ?
Provided inventory is available, our Warehouse will by
default schedule delivery for the next business day after payment is received and
cleared as available funds in our banking account. What this means is that should
for example an order be placed on a Monday for product available ex. Inventory,
for which payments reflects on the Monday during business hours, the order will
be scheduled for delivery the next business day being a Tuesday. If payment only
reflects on the Tuesday, delivery will be scheduled for the Wednesday. There are
however times when delivery may take two (2) business days to conclude and would
occur only during peak periods when our delivery service is fully booked. At all
times, our online ordering system will provide you with notification of when delivery
will take place and in the event of an unforeseen delay, you will be notified.
For orders placed on account when would delivery
occur ?
Provided inventory is available, our Warehouse will by
default schedule delivery for the next business day - provided the order is received
during business hours. Orders received outside of business hours will be processed
the following business day, for which delivery will then be scheduled for the next
business day. During peak periods when our delivery service is fully booked, delivery
will take approximately two (2) business days.
When would you use the services of a 3rd party
courier to arrange delivery ?
CyberDyne will generally only use a 3rd party courier to
provide a delivery service for areas our vehicles do not visit on a regular basis.
At the point that a quotation is issued, we will specify if delivery is being provided
by CyberDyne itself, or a 3rd party courier. This ensures that prior to your processing
an order with CyberDyne, you will be aware of how delivery will take place.
How do I know when my order is out on delivery
?
On the day that delivery has been scheduled for, our Warehouse
will send you an SMS notification to the mobile number provided during the registration
process. This serves as a reminder that delivery will take place that specific day
during the hours 9:00am to 17:00pm.
